Is my blog SFW?

When one graduates, one must ask oneself important questions, such as:

-What do I do with my life?

-Should I take the road less traveled?

-Will that make all the difference?

-Oh, the places I'll go?

and, of course,

-Is there anything about me on the Internet that would make a library think twice about hiring me?

My blog today will focus on the last of those questions. Yesterday I googled myself with and without quotes (including an image search) and I came up clean (and, not to brag, but the first hit was actually about me getting a fellowship! Bonus!).

But still I worry. I did make reference to a sex act in my review of the Kids in the Hall show. And I admitted to stealing the organic part of an apple just a few weeks ago. Should I delete those posts? Am I being paranoid? Probably.

Still, in case any potential employers look me up and find this blog, I would like to say that I'm glad you're being so thorough in your search for a children's librarian. And I'll just mention that, while this blog is somewhat indicative of who I am as a person, a much better website to look at would by my MLIS Portfolio.

the best part of your mlis portfolio (which I only scanned, because land o' goshen! that's a lot of text!) is this little gem:

"I've always been one to take charge of a situation because I am by nature both outgoing and outspoken."

I will happily attest to the truth of that statement.

Thank, Nathan. I should've used you as a reference on my applications.
